Meet Novie Marie!
Today is Novie's turn to be featured on the blog and her mom gave me permission to share her birth story here! :)
Five weeks before Novie's due date, her parents and little brother packed up to head to the Outer Banks for a week's vacation with their extended family! I'm happy to say they got a few days to see some special OBX sites and play on the beach. They were gearing up for another fun day on Wednesday, but Novie's mom was awakened early!
Novie was born at 10:58pm later that evening on July 26, 2017 -- beautiful and perfect, just needing a little oxygen. Within the week, Novie was home and doing great!
Novie was not quite 7lbs when she came to see me at 10 days old and she was such a sweet baby! We were able to work through multiple setups!
Novie is wearing the bracelet that her Great Grandma got her in memory of her Grandpa -- who's birthday Novie narrowly missed arriving on!
Two year old Nolan was pretty proud of his new sister!
You are beautiful, Jessica, and so is sweet Novie! Congratulations!

Kara's first year went by so quickly! Isn't it amazing how a tiny newborn infant transforms during one year?!

She has grown just a little bit -- it would be cute to see her try to nap in that box, but alas, she has outgrown it!
I think she was crying because she knew she had cake waiting!
This baby was so fun to watch during her cake smash! She dug in with hands, feet, and face - it was precious! You can see she is so pleased with herself!
And no better way to end our time together than a quick rinse in the tub!
Happy first birthday, Kara! You are absolutely precious and I enjoyed seeing you this year!

I love it when clients arrive and OWN their session! I know it is difficult to stand in front of the camera, but some people are naturals....meet Nash! From her makeup and nails to this powder blue dress, Nash was radiant.
We had to reschedule a few days because of rain, but decided to try to sneak this session in one evening when it looked like there was a break in the clouds!
I know this new little guy is going to be cute as a button if big brother is any indication!

And then...it rained on us. And....Nash was still looking beautiful and fresh after it stopped, so we took a few more shots to close out the session!

Baby in daddy's pocket was request number one! When she arrived weighing in at 9lbs 7oz we weren't sure she would fit, but she settled right in and it couldn't have been any cuter...except with that sweet little face beside daddy's hat!
