I was beyond thrilled when Jennifer asked me if I could take pictures of Kaiden again!  He has just turned one, and who could resist this adorable little face?!  

I think I would need to give him hugs and kisses and cuddles all day too if he was my baby!

He is one now and he was not quite walking yet at our session, but he is on the go for sure.  Watch out mama and daddy -- he will be hard to keep up with now!

When you call to book a session and I tell you that I'd love to meet in the late afternoon to catch the last sunlight of the evening...this is what I'm talking about...

I honestly wanted to edit every photo from the shoot.  I don't think they had any bad photos at all!

This has been such a rainy fall, but the sun came out for this senior's session a few weeks ago! It was a perfect day - not too hot and not too cold and the light was just beautiful...just like Lily! Lily is a Northwood student and she showed me some cool Chatham County places for photographs!

Emery Elizabeth | Sanford NC Newborn Photographer

I always get super excited when I am asked to do a newborn session - doesn't matter who it is that asks, I always feel honored that anyone entrusts me to capture that newborn innocence and newness. The wrinkles, the rolls, those sweet baby yawns...

I am not sure when I started taking dance at Kelly's - maybe when I was in the fourth grade?  I believe Sloan was around kindergarten age then -- maybe even younger!  I remember the dance recital where she dressed up like Pocahontas -- I think she could still pull it off, don't you?!  Just beautiful!

Sloan brought Emery over when she was 6 days old, and let me tell you - she is a natural little mama!  I knew Emery was her first baby, but had I not known, I would have never guessed it in a million years -- she was as confident as any second, third or fourth time mom I've ever met!

We had a super fun session with lots of props and set ups!

We couldn't forget the camo for Emery's dad!

Savor this fleeting time, Sloan!  Emery is beautiful!
